The Stars That Aren't There Any More

I used to see many bright stars when I was younger. The stars were faint but I loved them. Every night I'd take out my telescope and stare into it until I got tired and fell asleep. I've tried taking pictures of them at night but I could never take any good shots.

But now I look up at the night sky all I see is a faint brown/orange glow, a few bright satellites and the moon looking over me. There are no longer any stars to see. I miss the stars.

I remember a time when I went for the Sec 2 OBS camp at Pulau Ubin. One of the days, we went for a really long kayaking trip and then we had to camp out in the jungle for a night. When I looked up, I saw the brightest stars I had ever seen in my life. Sparkling jewels upon a backdrop of the black night. It was beautiful. That day was one of the best of the camp. It was the day that changed my view of the camp. When I close my eyes at night I can see the beautiful stars that were there. The beautiful memories of my past linger in my brain. The people of my past who I've never been there for

Enough with the past. These memories may mean everything to me but I can't ponder on them too much.

Talking about the night, my dreams I'm having, they are getting better, smarter, like my subconscious took a class on the rendering of real places and people and nearly got a perfect score. I'm nowhere near lucid dreaming as in the case of Inception level dream rendering. But I'm getting better at rendering my dreams. I can hear, taste, smell and feel in my dreams for once.

The people that my brain conjures up are my friends. The voices sound so real. Their action have reactions and the places...the places are the places I walk by every day. The colours are perfect, the small details like a yellow stain on the wall or a drain pipe are there.. My brain may be smart but it isn't perfect. It rendered Wendy with long Red hair. And it gave Simon a near perfect attitude. Near perfect because he actually gave me good advice. The food in my dreams made me full. The taste is a little airy but delicious. I seem to remember more too. I used to remember nothing by the end of the day but now I can remember full length dreams.

That Perfect Time of Night

There's always that perfect time of night when the world just falls silent and you can finally think properly without any disturbances. The cars, the music and the air just stops. It feels as if the whole world has ground to a halt around you where the only sounds are of your breath and whatever you choose to make. The perfect time to think, to reflect, to dream... Memories are flooding my brain memories of futures past when the world was sane and life was simpler...memories of the camp: The great friends I've made the hardships, we've gone through and the beautiful midnight stars.

Yeah I know I'm posting at 1.30 am. I just woke up...and it's that time of day. So quiet so peaceful now. The world has stopped...thankfully there are no roadworks today. They'd have ruined the moment...

Anyways today is Teachers day and I'm going back to Telok Kurau Primary. The only time I actually have is on Tuesdays but I use Tuesdays for my Photoscapes and when I go to the cabin...er...Lodge. So basically I am very busy...

Today was so normal...other than the random pain in my legs...normal. In the morning I was back ready for the future. If I skip all the normal parts we'd end up right here during IPW! Went to the computer lab...had a suckish time at the computer lab actually...then had to decorate the torch. I was running around the whole school jumping around to look for Yan Wei. Which reminds me that I just uploaded a new set of photos on my Facebook albums: Memories of Futures Past. Go look at it...its some of the best photos I've ever taken.

It's about time I went back to sleep...Time freaks me out sometimes...I'll do one about time next post I do.

Anyways. Today was a pretty boring day other than being sick with a 38.8°C fever then sleeping for half a day straight. Then I got better and started to do my Homework.

Oh yeah 22/25 for my physics test. And a 19/25 for my Chemistry test.

After finishing my homework I started on my new blog background before stopping and changing playing around with my blog's HTML codes again. Then Liyana SMSed me.(No thank you for the spam...)

Neverending Light

There's this game I found...on Kongregate...its pretty fun but really needs a sequel.
Its called Neverending Light.
I wont spoil much but its something like Alan Wake.

Well Today was fun... Got my Maths common test back. An  A1 with 30/40 for my maths and a pass by 0 marks for 12.5/25 for my Geography. Next is my Physics and Chem and Literature and finally my Home Econs common test to wait for. I'm so happy.

Anyways, I managed to get full marks for Shirley Wong's student set quiz. Thanks to Wan Xuan's really easy fill in the blank questions. Even though a few of the questions were misreadable but at least it was in order of page whereas mine jumped from page to page in a semi-coherent fashion with a few hard to look for answers. I treid my best not to put any definition questions as they would be to easy but well I ran out of good questions to ask. At least mine was really fair.

I also had an awesome art lesson. I played around with Mr Wong's D80(I prefer his D80 to his D40x) and got some awesome shots I'll start uploading them to my Facebook soon. I'm really proud of some of the shots I took. I'm going to try out my 'I love how the camera freezes time for only an instant. But keeps that piece of time frozen for all eternity.' by freezing a fan perfectly still with no blur before I save it forever. Or I could just use this pic...















After school, instead of going to play Table Soccer or the Wii in the Cabin...er...Lodge, I helped Liyana out in the Comp Lab. Then I went back home to rest for a bit before heading out to Parkway for my thrice weekly chiropractor appointment. Then I started cleaning my room and my cupboards when I came back before I finished up Batman: Arkham Asylum for the second time. My room is still as mess however...

White

White...
Today one of my friends asked me what white meant to me.

White represents pureness, innocence and cleanliness to me.
It also represents good. And also light. It is opposed by black which to me represents darkness and an infinite doom.

Well that's my take on the matter...

Back on track, today...pretty average day...

Common test....well I'm guaranteed to lose at least 5 marks. 3 for the first question and 2 for the last question of the graph.

After the exam we had History before we went for recess. Lets skip to after school.

I wondered around school waiting for the Cabin or should I say The Lodge to open. Played a bit of Wii wit Simon before advancing to Table Soccer. I quickly got decimated while becoming increasingly more thirsty. Oh well you win some you lose some.

Then fast forward back home where I moved around slowly before taking a bath and going to Parkway for my Chiropractor appointment. I have one tomorrow too after Choir Practice.

Then when I came back home I crashed until 7.15pm and woke up right on time to break fast. (Sidenote: Pepsi before hot tea is a bad idea)

I went to my computer later edited the class T-shirt design before sending it to Mr Izham then checking my old club penguin account and now I'm writing this post.

Well....I said I would write a detailed recount of my many dreams. But today is not the day. Its really late already. Goodnight world. Till tomorrow

Its Never Too Late To Apologize

Hello again world..

Most people would say that its too late to apologize...but it never seems to be the case for me...I would if I could...but well fate doesn't seem to agree...oh well...memories...

Anyways, This might be a really short post considering that I was sleeping for most of the day. Well day started pretty normally...woke up had sahur. Felt tired but normal. I then went back to sleep before waking up to bathe. Mid bath I had the urge to vomit before off-loading my whole sahur and some sushi I had the night before, I told my grandmother and advised I stay at home. So basically the rest is about me sleeping...no dreams. Oh well...

Since I watched Inception, I've been thinking of making some Penrose stairs while lucid dreaming. If you've ever been in one of my dreams be fore-warned. Its the craziest thing you'll ever experience. It goes from the craziness of being a guest star on Glee to the complete insanity of being an avatar protecting a town from a tsunami to the despair of being trapped in a neverending dream within a dream within an infinitely rising elevator with no end(That ended with me walking into a doorway into a black abyss that had an exit sign above it). I'll write a new post detailing all the dreams I've had. Well those that I remember anyways. I need to sleeeeep nao.

Ghosts Among The Foliage

Well...Hi. New layout means new posts but now with titles too.

Well onto my day...Morning...nothing much happened. Got woken up by Liyana. Went to check up on my blog and found out there were new layouts. And spent most of the rest of the day tweaking the layouts to fit my needs(make it look like my old background). At 1, I watched a bit of mythbusters before going back and continuing my tweaking. After awhile I got bored and Played Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Before going back to starting Chapter 1 of my to be novel. It's a secret novel for now...Once I'm finished, I'll say what its about. Anyways, later in the day my grandmother and I was talking about ghosts...it is the hungry ghost festival after all. Anyways, the tree outside of my house is haunted. And the land my house is built on and the surrounding area used to be a grave yard. Seems that the tree ghost is very nice tho. Okay time to sleep I guess...tomorrow is a Choir Day and also the first day of Fasting. I'll be editing a bit more after I go for my chiropractor appointment. Hasta La Vista internet and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow.

Anyways my day was awesome! I messed with Yen Wei! And I managed to lose my pencil case too. Then later I managed to use Mr Wong's D80. He said that I could keep his camera till tomorrow if I can't find him. Luckily I managed to find him...I felt incapable of keeping a $2000 camera for the night. Also I forgot to bring my key to school. Luckily this morning I managed to catch the gate before it closed so I didn't notice till I went home. When I did, I was with Jerremy so I could go in without a key. And so now I has my key in my wallet! XD My friend uploaded my class photos from primary school! Now I has my chocolate back! And has a sore throat too! Ok this is basically it from me. Viva La Vida

Well its no secret by now...everyone knows that I love Amelia.
I remember that I used to walk her to the bus stop in front of my house. We chatted while she waited for her bus...then when she left I waited online to chat with her...Those were better days...I miss them...

Oh well on to my day...
Today was an awesome day...leave out the part where I found out that Amelia thinks that I'm a jerk and its pretty awesome. Today was the Opening Ceremony Performance day. I left the house at about 12 Noon and was pretty early. We did a few warm ups before getting some light makeup...a little bit of foundation and lip gloss. Boys were not exempted from it...except for the blusher. I'm pretty used to the feeling of lip gloss...in P3 I was forced by my form teacher to participate in a dance item so I had to use glittery blue lip gloss. I enjoyed the dance quite a bit even though I was forced. Anyways, we did a sound check at the hall. Mrs Erp called me to the side then asked me why I didn't come for the last two practices...I thought she was going to ask me to do an audition. Then she said ok then I ninja jumped back up. Then went back to the choir room for lunch. Then later I got a headache and Ms Wang gave me Panadol. Its a lot harder to swallow something with little water...God it tasted bitter.
We changed into our costumes then I had a nap. (Side note: Shoe boxes don't make a really good pillow)Then I got woken up for warm ups. We had to re-apply the lip gloss. Then we went back to the ITMRL. I let Danial use my iPhone too. We then went to the hall for the epic³ performance. We were like OMG when Mr Mike Chiang was in his suit. He looked effing awesome. I hope we get to see him again. I will miss you and your awesome.Your awesome sense of humour and your awesome sense of style and your awesome conducting. Even if you did drop your stick thing. Anyways, we nearly got it perfect this time...nearly. Then we went up to the ITMRL.(I was jumping 3/4 of the way there hi-5ing random people.) We had a debrief and we got dismissed. I got changed out of my costume...accidentally leaving about 2 sweets in the pants pocket. I stayed for awhile before following Yek Liang to the hall to watch. Then I started to hi-5 more people. Later I went down and said hi to Mr Han. He said to help myself to the chips and stuff...I accidentally spilled some coke on my coke flavoured lollipop. I walked home slowly. Enjoying the cool breeze. As soon as I got back home I crashed and woke up at 11PM. Ok so that's the end of my day.

Sunday:
It was pretty uneventful day except that I had to go for my grandfather's Birthday. It rained on our barbecue. So we moved it to the porch. Who knew that sitting in a soft chair staring at the rain could be so calming.

Monday:
Well firstly there was a rehearsal on the day...we practiced until about 7PM then we went home. While waiting, I managed to pwn all of the Tap Tap challengers... also we left class early and got free food! XD Hahas! Also Mr Ibrahim said that he'll show the link I gave him to the class.

Today!
Well first off I had to go for choir at 6.45 am cos we had to perform to the school during assembly...It was epic² and also parts of the song made me have shiver a bit cos the atmosphere was pretty creepy...then Ms Su was sick today and we had a free period. Then me, Dominic Lam, Yen Wei got to leave class at 12.35pm since we had to go for a workshop for the F1 In Schools Competition. We learnt some basic general knowledge. Tomorrow we get to try the SolidWorks software to make a prototype car design. Highlight of my day was that I got to sit in Mr Khaw's car. It feels weird sitting in a teachers car...Dominic said he got to sit in a Bentley...Yes, a Bentley its effing expensive! And also he told me that Ryan from 2H is a worthy opponent for me to challenge Tap Taping skills against. To end here is the name of a Facebook fan page I found:

Anyways onto my day...
Part one of my day: Full dress rehearsal for the School Opening Ceremony. Well everything sounds awesome...especially the lotus section of the song. A certain person or two took my bottle and then aggressiveness ensued and lets just say that I got my bottle back. I need someone to film the performance for me! Also heard that the 4 lucky people that get to eat the dinner there get an eight course dinner. And the
pièce de résistance is the dessert. Which I likened it to 'ambrosia' and also 'food that fell from the heavens'.

Well anyways I'm in the process of trying to make a GIF so I can have a shooting star in my upper atmosphere part of my blog background. And a bigger background...bigger than the previous target of 1680x7000. It doesn't cut it anymore I need 1680x8000 now...cos of my really long posts. Also I'm moving on to XML coding. XHTML, CSS, HTML tutorials are completed.

It seems that due to my recently extremely long posts...I have managed to overshoot my blog background size...so to compensate a new background is in the works...probably going to have an aurora and a new nebula added too. But the design will relatively be the same with the awesome planet with lens flare on top. I also need a music playlist. My current one has some stupid copyright thing on it so it doesn't work. Also I must remember to add a wishlist on my blog.

Now onto my day!
During PE I managed to finally pass my Standing Broad Jump. First attempt I slid on the ground and fell backwards. Second attempt I managed to do 2 meters. Then later while walking around during PE I tried doing Pull-Ups(not the inclined kind, the actual pull-ups). On my third try I did three...an achievement if I say so myself...but after I let go, my elbows hurt like it was hit by Dominic Gil.

Also during D&T we made a contraption for our simple machines study. My group got to make a scale.

Then later at 2PM the choir and band left early because of the rehearsal. Lucky us! XD In about an hour we got a huge load better at singing it. On the last part of the song, I sang as loud as I could control my pitch. I might be able to do louder but I'm afraid that I might go off pitch. But I'll never know until I try.

Also I finally got a shot that I am fully proud of. Look at the clarity of the sun in it. It's a perfectly round circle. Also during Choir I had a beautiful view of the sun creeping down behind the trees. But in like 2 minutes that rare photo opportunity disappeared. I have a few more(or a lot more) to show but I'll add them to my Facebook album.

Yesterday I fell asleep after I came home from sending my mother off to Australia. I was planning to write my post about it yesterday but I fell asleep earlier than expected...I seem to be sleeping early these days...

Well nothing that eventful happened today...I went to school. I managed to beat Ms Jacqueline at checkers. First person to beat her! Hahas XD then later I finally got beaten by grace at table soccer...my winning streak has ended. But I started a new one with the defeat of a team of two against me. I wants to challenge Mavis next. Then when I came back home at 5, I watched some Ellen, then went to my room and accidentally fell asleep until 8.45PM then I went online to send Ms Siti the Marina barrage photos that I took.

At the current moment I'm multitasking learning HTML while typing this and captionifying whole album adding a few new pictures and editing a video...also listening to The Mysterious Ticking Noise.

Well anyways according to Jessica Chobot the new iPhone OS4.0 will allow multitasking. That would be so awesome considering how many times I've had to restart my game of Tap Tap because of a phone call.

Anyways on to my day...
Firstly A few teachers from Hongkong went into my class to see how we conduct our lessons in Singapore. The class was eerily quiet during the maths period..no screaming, no booing...nothing and everybody sat at their own place for once.

Secondly...during the school opening ceremony rehearsal, Choir got drowned out by the band and CO. Also I noted a visual cue for when to start singing the last part. Also since we needed to check our costumes,they released us at about 7.30 pm. I met Jodi downstairs and waited for Jerremy. I took a few pictures of the school at night then played Tap Tap with Jodi in the pitch black canteen. 3/4 through the song, Jerremy came and gave us a half a rock cake. Then Jie Ying came and told me that I left my file in the Choir room...which was already locked.(NOOOOOOOO<-----big No) The walk back home with them was uneventful(so I'll skip this part)

Once I reached home, I went straight to my bathroom to get a nice cool shower. After getting clothed I fell onto my bed and slept for about 30minutes. After I woke up, I ate my dinner and started my crash course on HTML coding and later I got a little ahead of myself and started to delve into CSS and JavaScripting. Lately I've been quoting songs quite a bit. Some hold messages others hold my feelings and all the rest are those that I found interesting. Like the next one expresses my feelings. This is one of my feelings quotes:

So my current goal is to add a quote or two to every new post I make.

Anyways I'm currently in the process of firebugging all the blog pages on my link list. Page deconstruction is going to be fun...from my recent page check, the most well made ones are Mavis' and Amelia's blog pages...but since I'm moving in an alphabetical order Mavis' blog page will have to wait until I reach M so its now Amelia's blog's turn for deconstruction.

So today I saw Mateen acting as a girl for a Literature exercise...I'll add the photos later and add the link right here! Then later 2F/G/H/I went to the Marina Barrage...it was totally awesome!!! XD
I saw the miniaturised version of how the dam actually works. I had forgotten to take pictures off the first parts but I did take pics of the kites and stuff for my Randomscenes album. But there is a special dedicated album just for pictures of the Barrage. Pictures for it on the link here! I had a few more picture ideas but Mateen snatched it out of my hands at a crucial moment when we were parallel to the Double-Helix bridge. And also managed to spam Jodi's message inbox too.

I should make a to do list of what I want to accomplish by the end of the year for my blog...like to write a new post every 3 days or maybe make a new background cos I think my background is too small at the moment...but it can wait cos now its my time to leave. Also Red Vs Blue: Revelations episode 2 is coming out tomorrow. XD

Well I've finished the first overhaul of the blog for a while. Along the way I learned how to change the opacity of the tables, change the font and size and add a backgrounds in XML coding. Also I have learned invaluable skills to use in photoshop CS2.

Anyways on to my day...I was sick for the last 5 days so I was pretty blur about what we have to do. Also now I'm currently finishing up a few more of my projects...just a new blog background for the Hawaii International Friendship Day blog a better recording and reediting of a video for the IPW project. Right now on my to do list is to add more stuff to my blog and to increase the size of the background from 1680x5000 to 1680x6500.

Lately I've been listening to stuff from the fray...It brings me back to better days where I had not a single care in the world and when I did not have a crush. Yes, you did read correctly, I am currently in love with someone right now. I'm not stead with her but I might ask her in about a few months...hopefully all the work I put in to this blog is enough spur me on to post here regularly.

Well hi again I'm back after a long hiatus of 7 months. A lot has happened in the past half year...I became an official PSL, I have a new user name to use, Cikgu Faizal is teaching me Malay, I finally get to use the new special uniform for choir and i got an iPhone which is freakin awesome! I now have a new set of favorite words ranging from Blargmuffin to ~SHA!~. I loves my iPhone...its so awesome. I finally find a use for my firebug add-on...to play around with codes then see what happens to a page like a blog tho it doesn't save the page in the state I left it in, I can use it to preview a page in real time. I finally went to watch a movie too...Sherlock Holmes...it was freaking awesome. followed the events leading up to it on a game I was playing...221b.sh it was exhilarating...I'd like to add more about my life in the past year but I need to sleep now. TTYAL!
